Regarding my son’s facial surgery, I don’t want to make it sound like a big deal, the tests were essentially, “we don’t really know what this thing is long term so we better remove it”. This was a second minor surgery to see if they got all of it but he should be good to go.

It’s not like he got horns removed.... those remain 😂
Sounds promising. We are praying anyway.

The reason Hoople has not been on is that Finebaum will not pull punches and he will let "negavol" callers through to get in some punches. The only remotely good thing that has happened to UT football since firing Pruitt was hiring Garner and that's a still a maybe because a lot of people say he's not the same recruiter that he once was, which is understandable given his age and how long he's been around the SEC. If we get Simpson to commit tomorrow, Hoople will be on Finebaum next week. Otherwise, don't expect it to happen until he has some good news to shield against the body blows.
What do you use to shield yourself from people laughing at your unwavering love for Chip?

I have worn myself out the last 4 days enjoying this beautiful weather. I have been on the golfing range to playing 18. Man it was soooo beautiful these last few days. I am so looking forward to this Spring and can't wait for Spring football and this new high powered offense. I don't know if we know how to handle scoring a lot of points. LOL

By "NegaVol" you mean irrational arseholes with no concept of reality who think its still 1998 and aren't even willing to give a guy a shot who created exactly ZERO of our issues? I don't see Heupel as a guy who's been afraid to tackle a conversation. Probably has better things to do than get on The Jerry Springer South Show.
One of the things I've like about Heupel is how he seems to be very intelligent, and very comfortable in his own skin. He doesn't feel he has to be the smartest dude in the room, with all the answers, but still very comfortable with what he does and how he does it. There's a quiet confidence there. Many of our former coaches really wanted to sell fans on the belief that they knew everything and almost that we were fortunate they were bringing their talents to Rocky Top.

I don't see it as negative because I question our coaching hires. Plenty of reasons exist to question them. That's reality. I've continually said I hope they prove me wrong and succeed here. Again, not negative. I'm just not as "rah rah" as some when it comes to this staff. We've been burned one way or the other by every football hire since Kiffin. Reality. So pardon me if I'm a bit cautious this time around. It's not like I'm cheering against this staff. I'm not.
Lol...I was just pickin at you..

That’s great! Glad to hear it works well for you!
Government got involved with it about 2 years ago, and I figured it would be banned, but so far so good.
We have literally have had the parents of adults call us and email our company thanking us for the product because it has helped their son or daughter stay sober. It’s been satisfying knowing we can help folks kick addictions.
Kinda late to this particular tangent, but what does one need to know about this? Where, how, how much, etc.?

Golf still has a code...and it’s not antiquated. Doubt Tiger would violate that and tarnish his own legacy.
I'm really glad I got to witness that last Masters win as it was happening...Tiger is done, and that makes me sad. There is no doubt the guy has been a horrible person, but I enjoyed watching him play. We will never see a career performance like this again. These newer younger guys are really good, but they seem to do like Jordan Spieth and Rory...they dominate for a couple of years and then unravel.

Oldheads are grateful just to be relevant in basketball. And still can't wrap our heads around 13 years of dysfunction and not going to Atlanta in football.

20 year olds are upset we aren't a final four team in basketball, but have never seen a great Vol football team.

It's just interesting to me. Nothing more, nothing less.
Agree - I often wonder when I'm reading posts about the age and gender of the poster. I'm curious about the emotions tied to the 20-year-olds who've never seen a great football team. I fall into the old group - my kids want to see us win but also are quick to check out when things go south ("same old, same old"). They're now basically out until Heupel proves it on the field.

I thought Glanville was the first to use it in the NFL at Atlanta?
Pardee had been running it successfully at the University of Houston. He took over the Oilers the same season Glanville took over the Falcons (1990). Pardee already had a head start over Glanville and June Jones...who implemented it fully in 91.
