Agreed, AT plays better facing the defense, doesn't have great hip twist but has good break and pop. He's better suited as a safety. So, not okay to question coaches when they're hired, but acceptable to wish players were gone?
And personally, I think AT should be a Safety. But that's JMO.
I really wasn’t on the board between those posts. I think it proves the wisdom of waiting to be right. I checked the score, checked the board for trending bellyaching, responded, finished up some work and got prepared to go home, check score with seconds left, checked the board for expected InVoluntary smartassery and responded with coup de grace.Ever heard of hindsight? They say it's 20/20.
Make no mistake, I hope you're right...wish nothing but the best for the kid...and, hope like hell, he kills it this year.AT and BT will play on sundays. Carry on
What was the Tweet?Make no mistake, I hope you're right...wish nothing but the best for the kid...and, hope like hell, he kills it this year.
However, 2 int's and 11 pass breakups, FOR A CAREER, won't get him there. Taylor also has over 100 tackles for his career. Compare that to Brandon Joseph, who was #10 on that list, who is just a sophomore...6 int's and over 40 tackles...in one season...in just 8 games. No comparison, and the gap will only widen the further I move up that list.
Taylor deleted the tweet, btw.
Coach shouldnt be having to have a convo every game with team leaders to kick their butts in gear. After thinking about last night’s game I feel better than I did last night. I liked the tempo they played with and they played really good defense the final 4 minutes when Vandy had gotten hot.
Still too many turnovers, but that’s gonna happen playing fast. And the score would’ve been much worse had Vandy not hit that hot streak.
If they can find some consistency on offense I think this still can be a dangerous team. But that’s a large “if”.....
