It won't matter. Lawyers will show the video. The pause and then his sucker punch will be all a judge will see. As far as getting called a name I always taught students that doesn't matter it is when they move toward you in an aggressive manner or touch you.
The football player slapped the other dude first. He started the physical part of the confrontation. He could counter sue as well. Just because he won the fight doesn't absolve the loser of liability.

Some good witnesses will help. The video shows his actions aside from the other dude pushing him.
That pause will be timed and played over and over.

not sure about suing. I would think in a criminal manner, the fact that those guys are trained in Jiu Jitsu would def come into play in a Courts eyes. There were several opportunities for them to call dogs off.

Unless something happened before the video started he definitely “deserved” it. The guy was shoved and called a “f’ing pu$$y” before he hit Jones. The article also says the “attacker” wiped blood from his face off before hitting Jones so something obviously happened before the video even began

Yeah, but he hit the wrong guy. I think it was the guy in the denim jacket that pushed him and called him a name, not Jones. The attacker was looking away when he got shoved so he probably thought Jones shoved him.

I agree the guy that attacked Jones was already bleeding when the video started so presumably a lot had happened before then. Need more context before we can say who did or didn't deserve anything.

Probably come down to a jury. If it's a bunch of guys like most here, they'll say he deserved his ass whooping.

I'm no lawyer but I did stay at a Holiday inn express last night next to the Fox & Farmer law offices.

And there were several opportunities for the football players to quit picking a fight against what they thought were little, inferior dudes. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. They got exactly what they deserved.

Anyone have a surefire Gout relief plan?

If it’s just one joint that is involved, quickest relief is a steroid injection into that joint.
If multiple joints, then oral steroids followed by gout meds to suppress it.
Then try to figure out which part of your diet contributed to the flair up.

Not Tennessee Golfer but,

Is the new car going to be titled in your name or hers? If hers, she will have to be listed on said policy.. if yours, you can cheat the system and add car to your policy without listing her at all.. if car is titled on both names, again, she will have to be listed as driver...

If married, y’all should have combined policies a long time ago lol... hope that helps a little
Ok so I could title it in my name, add it to just my policy. But if she drove it and had an accident, would she be covered as a spouse? In NC if that matters.

The curly haired dude didn’t react until he saw the blood from his own nose. That’s when he threw the punch.

When I was a student at Tennessee, I had to work to make ends meet. After work, I would go to meet people. I can’t even count how many times I would arrive just in time to see one of my fraternity brothers getting arrested. Since I was the sober one, I would start collecting bail money (it was always $500). Once I had collected enough, I would head to the jail. I went often enough and knew where to go that I frequently arrived prior to the guy who had been arrested. The detention officers knew me by sight. They would ask me who I was there for...if I was early, they would even offer me coffee while I had to wait.

Two funniest times: Our fraternity president was a big guy, he and another president were breaking up a fight. Each had two guys by the collar. The police arrive and arrested the two guys that were actually breaking up the fight. The 4 guys fighting didn’t get arrested at all. $500 bail.

The second was at The Taproom on the strip. Only had one bathroom, so guys would go out to the alley behind the bar to take a leak. Unfortunately for one of my fraternity brothers, the trash bag that he decided to pee on had an undercover cop beneath it. (Evidently, someone was mugging/assaulting the town drunks/homeless in the area). He was arrested. $500 bail.

If assault is fear of bodily injury, or, intent to do harm. They all should spend night in jail.

As far as civil matter, one would think if someone were seriously injured, a civil suit would follow regardless of who threw first. I'm not a lawyer but did grow up around. Recall several situations similar to this, one where one young man lost his life.

What I stated above transpired. Anyway, moving on from analyzing bar fight tape

So if I lose the fight I started I can sue? That's hilarious. 😂

Nope. Dooley only signed 27 in 2010 when he could have signed more. We have 22 guys in the transfer portal and have lost guys from decommitments. Sorry this is worse than 2009.
I feel like the only the two rooms that look a little depleted is linebacker which will be fixed if HT and crouch stay..... C.B. is also a little depleted......!the rest looks fairly decent..... hopefully a few transfers will come into to help those two defensive units.

So, by that retort, we are to be prosecuted by being more prepared to defend ourselves when being Personally attacked?
The only way that would be held against him, is he has had professional fights.
The loud guy is never the one to worry about, the quiet ones usually are.
