The Atlanta Braves

Anyways we’re here. LFG

Fried, Morton, Anderson, Smyly, Wright

Smith, Martin, Minter, Matzek, Webb, Luke, Edwards, Tomlin

Acuña Dansby Freeman Ozuna TDA Albies Riley Pache

Kipnis Camargo Mayfield Ender AJackson

That rotation allows Soroka to get fully healthy too. No need to rush back.

Yup. I’d even be okay with a 6 man rotation for a bit if it allowed time for Soroka to get it going again.
I imagine they’re going to want to limit Fried, Ian, and Kyle a little bit also. So whether they go 6 man or makeup IL stints throughout the year, I expect all 6 guys to be main rotation fixtures.

The guy who hit .192 is better than Eric Hosmer?

Smith is good but Nola/Caratini/Campusano is a pretty solid+++ mix.

Hosmer OPS+ last three years: 101

Muncy OPS+ last three years: 136

And they do have a solid group at catcher I just prefer Smith’s upside.

Either way, it’s gonna be a super fun race

Choosing 3 years is odd..... because munchy has one good season that happened to be 3 years ago.

He was good in 2019. He had like a 140 OPS+. Hosmer sucked the previous 2 years before the abbreviated season.
133

And he didn’t suck. The difference in the dodgers and padres winning the division isn’t the gap between munchy and hosmer

Wil Myers had a higher OPS+ than mookie betts last season. Trent Grisham had a higher OPS+ than cody bellinger. You have to combine stats with having a brain.

Bench bat that is still available is Jedd Gyorko. Wouldn’t mind having him on the roster

No I never said that I thought we were just comparing positions. I like Muncy more than Hosmer for next year, especially because Muncy won’t have a .203 BABIP again
