DOB said the payroll limit will around $140M for Opening Day. Right now the Braves are close to $130M. Right now we are close to $130M and AA will set around $5M for the deadline. So we got about $5M left to play with.

Also said the plan is to put Freddie third and have Dans or Ozzie bat 2nd

He specifically pointed out Kipnis and Adrianza as bench guys to watch for.

Pache is expected to be the opening day CF

Braves still could add a backup C, but TDA is expected to get 120-130 starts so they might save money and go with a rookie.

Soroka should be back by the start of May if there is no DH.

Agreed, TDA especially. I think Ozuna is really good and this team fits him perfectly but SSS last year. You’re talking about three no doubt career ‘years’ last year. Lot of 🕳 in the lineup.

On the plus side, Ronald will be better and the pitching has to be better by default.
