The Official Zone Severe Weather Thread

I’m trying to persuade Hubs to check out the guide dog and service dog fostering program. Raise dogs from 12 weeks or so to around a year and a half, getting them socialized, used to people and other animals, traffic, cars, sidewalks, stores, libraries etc. When they’re ready to move on to specialized training, you have to give them up. Heartbreaking, but they leave you alive and happy, ready for the next big adventure. Then you start all over. We’re at the age when we shouldn’t get a dog, especially a larger breed dog. We still haven’t really gotten over the cat.
As I have shared on here, when I had to give my pup (even though she was a older dog, she always was a pup) up, I cried like a baby. It takes special people to take in pets, regardless of the circumstances, to get them to the point to be in their forever home.

Got a nice little snow Christmas Eve into Christmas Day. Timing was perfect. Now I'm done with it. That's all I care to see till next winter.

I mean, maybe I'm the dumb one, but I wouldn't risk bashing up my truck, or my head, over a box of Cap'n Crunch!!!
