Personally I love D. Moore but he needs to get serious about his route running. No doubt if you want someone to go deep he's your man but at this point he does not run crisp routes. Good hands? Hard to say because like VOLNBAMA stated the deep pass is a relatively easy catch.

I remember in the Florida game a catch he made with a DB all over his back. I know its just one play but he deserves a lot more opportunities.

If he wants to go to UM he must not be to worried about catching to many passes. To me if i am a pure wideout i would want to stay as far away as i could from the spread option offense.

Stokes says he will take visits, and confirms that Michigan will be one. While he admits everything with Fulmer and Boyd has him shaken, he says that the Vols are still high on his list.

Rich Rod can pass the ball too. While he was at Tulane, his QB, Shaun King, set the single season passer efficiency rating.

I'm thinking thats more like the spread they're running in Michigan. I haven't watched enough of them to know, and most likely, Malik would get to play with him there, which he won't get to here.

I am under the impression that we will not recruit Malik at all, but somehow I don't see that happening. We will still go after him, just as an athlete who can play slot or corner. He won't get to play quarterback here. Is that what has fueled all of this commotion surrounding the Stokes brothers?

I'm pretty sure he only wants to play QB, because it's all he's ever played.

I don't think thats a cause of all of the commotion, but it's probably a part of it.

Just an tidbit to chew on guys, with the recent commitment of Green it seems more and more likely the possibility that Stokes could be wavering heavily now. Just a thought, and really isn't anything more than speculation at this point.

Man...I hope you're wrong...

1.) He's extremely talented and could be a playmaker that we need...

2.) I'm getting incredibly fed up with this get-one, lose-one pattern we've had lately...

We just got Green...why can't we just keep who we have and build on it?

I know that nobody has control over that...I'm just ready for the momentum of a good commitment to lead to other commitments...not to current commits wavering

Trading Stokes for Carroll or Jeffrey would be fine in my book. I would like to keep him, but his brother is what he is basing his decision on.

I agree with blamie....Green and Stokes are slot receivers
We may take both but I think Green's commitment means we are not getting Stokes

I don't know much about Green but Stokes is not a slot receiver. I'm sure he'll play there some but he could be a #1 receiver at some point. He has really good hands and route running ability.

He's the best pure slot receiver in the country. What are you talking about?
