It's also an insult to all the black coaches ring interviewed. It just gives off an appearance that they are only being interviewed because of skin color and not coaching capability. Hence the reason for all the rejections.

From reading the UCF board, being spineless was one of the biggest knocks on Heupel. To be successful here, he needs to be allowed to take charged of this coaching search.

...or the flip side is that there are so few leaders in the sophomore, junior and senior classes that a freshman is having to lead the team.

My mom used to tell me I was the most pessimistic person she ever knew.
I'd tell her, "Mom, I'm not a pessimist, nor an optimist. I'm a realist. I don't see a glass half full or half empty. I just see half a glass."

You'd probably claim to see half a glass, but your comment reads half empty.
Thing is, you actually might be right ... seemed to be the case last season for sure.

the biggest misconception in diversity hiring is that hiring a person of color means you’re sacrificing quality.

What your doing is giving a person of color with comparable resume and qualifications a shot to **** things up as badly as the previous non-diverse hire did. LOL
take a lap...

for thinking anyone can **** this up more than it is

Because they want a "diverse" hire. But not limited to just a black coach according to @MoCo_Vol however I havent seen any female candidates or any other ethnicity/race candidates.

The butthurt is strong with this one.

Why is diverse in quotations though, it’s a legit word which you still don’t know the definition for apparently.

So we picked a former college WR who's most recently been an OC at Rice to come in and coach RB's over Mondario Hardesty..... interesting....

Having been upper management for 3 Fortune 50 companies I can tell you that’s not always the case, and that’s where a lot of people’s cynicism comes from.

I can assure you I’ve been the person to hire based off most qualifies and what’s always chapped me is when I have got accolades for hiring a minority like I did something special when the fact is that person deserved the accolade for doing a good job.

I despise virtue signaling
