Do we think it's at all possible that DW and JH are trying to push Steele and Garner onto the potential DCs, and that's why we keep getting turned down? Seems doubtful, but the timing of the Garner announcement plus the fact that Steele is still apparently operating as a staff member seem weird.

It’s possible option 1,2,3,4 and 5 said no so option 6 , Steele it is, and now we’re on to hiring position coaches.

I have played that a hundred times. Even the other two on screen are hilarious with one putting on his glasses to see better, and the other acting like a cat is normal at their meetings.

Hoping for Rodgers but wouldn't be mad about Conklin. He's a pretty good coach. I remember during Dooley's last season when he finally had enough of Sunseri's bad defense that he had Conklin basically become the DC and let Conklin take over calling the defense and running practice. The defense still wasn't good, but they were a lot better than when Sunseri was making the calls. Conklin seems to be pretty well respected.
