In no particular order these are all names that have been floated in connection with the job, and I've probably missed a couple.

Arnett
Couch
Rodgers
Jancek
Ash
Brown
Orlando
Washington

If their names make it to the media in connection with a job, that typically means someone at UT or on their behalf has reached out to that coach or their representation. None appear to have gotten as far as Washington, but I'd be surprised if those names were all just made up. It may not have gotten any further than "No thanks, not interested" on some of them, but that doesn't make me feel any better. Even when every agent in America knows they'd have us over a barrel in negotiations we can't get an interview with that coach. Not sure Basilio is too far off if you look at it from that perspective.

And his chances of lasting past year 4 are going to take a hit too I am afraid. He will be reminded of that a lot when he losses
