You act as if who he had to be as a person didn’t play into his career in a “sports sense” which is why it’s so much more impressive. He was the most dominant player in his sport as a player, then won as a player/coach all while dealing with horrific racism at every turn.

Imagine how good he’d have been if all he had to worry about in his life was leaving his baby momma to marry the richest super model in the world?

There is no doubt Tom is the greatest QB to have ever lived. Which trumps pretty much everything else so it’s all moot.

Pretty sure there has got to be some soccer player out there who is probably more impressive than anyone mentioned tbh

And despite all of that, he still had an incredible amount of advantages that enabled him to win 11 titles. Plus wasn’t even the best scorer on his team most of the time.

Brady has as many Super Bowl wins as Brees, Favre, Rodgers, Marino, Elway and Manning combined. And he’s the all time leader in td’s and will be in yards as well. He’s also got every single passing playoff record. And then at 43 left his alleged GOAT coach and team, joined a franchise that hadn’t made the playoffs in 12 years and played at an elite or near elite level in a COVID year and helped lead them to a super bowl. He’s won Super Bowl 19 years apart. That’s 6 more years than Russell played.

Because he (probably) will never win a World Cup, there will never be unanimous opinion about it but Messi is that soccer player.

So you are using longevity as an argument in a conversation pitting a guy who eats avocado ice cream and avoids things called nightshades because of how much information he has about diet to a dude who played in Chuck Taylor’s? I’m shocked, shocked I tell you that Brady was able to play longer than Russell.

Yes I am because look at his peers. Manning was done by 38. Brees was done by 40. Favre was done at 40. It’s not just “oh he’s played a long time” he’s the only QB who has played this long, this well and at this length. He’s 43 years old! Peyton just got in the HOF and Brady just won his 7th Super Bowl! The dude is a freaking alien.
