He's still miles better than that gas bag Vitale who talks about everything other than the game. Talks about himself a lot. I' m texting my buddy at ESPN and asking him to watch the replay

Keep working the two freshmen they are the keys to winning going forward. They can open it up for Fulkerson with their play. Huge game for both tonight the second half of the game was awesome.

Dude. We are a basketball school now. Hate to say it, but Thompson Bowling matters more that the football stadium. Fulmer Way and Shields Field and all the rest. Vols suck at football. We are a basketball school.

For a good laugh go back in this thread and read some of the comments, especially when we were down by 10 points....EXACTLY why I don't do game thread during the game. Some folks just emotionally can't handle it and if you're that guy....stop posting during the game when you CLEARLY have no control over your emotions. Unless of course that's your idea of fun then carry on...LOL!

This. It’s just raw emotion from being a fan. I’ve never understood policing thoughts. Some people just like to come here and go on an emotional roller coaster together. It’s part of the fun.

I'm always elated by a win at Rupp(sort of predicted it) , but being the ulti-pessimist I'll reserve the 'We've Arrived' celebration for about 3 more games down the pike. Watched too many years to be sucked into the we've turned the corner pee yer pants reaction again. Enjoyed the moment though.

But this is a different team from last year and seems like he's still trying to adjust to the roster and find his fit.

Fulk has to be good for this team to advance. He has shown hes plenty capable. Now he just has to get back to that consistency.

It was very obvious from the tip that Barnes completely changed his game philosophy.

We moved out of the half court offense to an obvious fast break scheme. I've never seen Vescovi that active as he was in the first half.

Keyon is a beast. You can see his athleticism clearly, more so even than Springer. He just needs to improve a little on finishing at the rim. I am hoping that Barnes was deliberately slow walking the season to set this tempo
up in late Feb early March for the tournament. Hopefully we will show an up-tempo for the rest of the season. I think Barnes was waiting for the experience factor to kick in for Springer and Johnson.

I think too that JJJ plays better in a fast tempo. Not sure if Fulky can handle that pace or not. Does he have the stamina? Now we just need a little more consistency from ON.

I 100% admit I gave up. But I'm an emotional poster that probably shouldn't post during the game because I pretty much just post what I'm thinking at that exact moment.

This. And to be fair....we were playing not very good. I mean even the team would agree with us.
