Tom Cotton: DREAM Act Would Offer Amnesty to Illegal Aliens with Criminal Convictions

Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) told Breitbart News on Thursday that Democrats’ DREAM Act legislation, if enacted into federal law, would permit the extension of amnesty to illegal aliens with criminal convictions.

“[The DREAM Act] would ignore criminal records,” Cotton explained in an interview on SiriusXM’s Breitbart News Daily with host Alex Marlow. “It would exclude multiple criminal convictions at the state and federal levels, [including] serious and violent felonies that have been pleaded down to lower offenses. It would give Alejandro Mayorka — who we’ve seen is surrounded by serious ethical questions — the ability to issue waivers, even for people like human traffickers.”

Feb. 4 (UPI) — President Joe Biden on Thursday signed an executive order to increase refugee admissions to 125,000 by next year.

The action reverses policies implemented by former President Donald Trump that lowered refugee admissions from 110,000 during the Obama administration to a historic low of 15,000. Biden’s order also requires “excessive vetting of applicants” in order to raise the cap for the fiscal year 2022.

During his tenure as president, Trump gradually reduced refugee admissions, capping them at 50,000 in 2017, then dropping them to 45,000 for 2018 and 30,000 in 2019, before hitting 18,000 for 2020.

These narratives are being created by the leftist media and the left dominated bureaucracies to justify the purging of conservatives in every facet of govt, education and society. Say hello to the mechanism by which they accomplish single party rule. What’s coming next, most on the left will ridicule you mercilessly if it’s said out loud, but they too will be shocked at the speed and force by which the constitution and other individual liberties (think 1A and 2A) are eviscerated for certain people.

He admitted his economic policy can't accomplish in 2 terms what Trump did in one. He admitted that he will hold the economy back for a decade. Why is anyone still supporting him?

Technically, she's an IC and labor laws don't apply to her as an employee/employer relationship would. Her pay is a contract between you and her as a business, not employee.

I probably would be required to buy ACA health insurance too which I can barely afford for myself so I guess I'll clean my own house.
