I have a request from Volnation. A plea really. My youngest Granddaughter, just over a month old, has been diagnosed with a Congenital Heart Defect (Tetralogy of Fallot) and will have open heart surgery this week. Any prayers that you could send (or positive thoughts if you don't believe in prayer) would be greatly appreciated. Just know, I wouldn't ask anything for myself, ever. But, I'll ask anything of anyone for one of my family. Thank you in advance.
I want to thank Volnation for your prayers and well wishes. Maddie had surgery today. There was more issues that initially thought. She had 2 holes in her heart, her heart was enlarged, extra muscle had to be removed and an artery had to be repaired. She pulled through and her surgeon is optimistic. She will be in the hospital for at least 10 days with tubes and a pacemaker.

This is Madelyn Grace. Thank you again for all of your support.

What a beautiful baby. May God continue to heal and my prayers remain with you and all of your family.

I can’t help it if I doze off by 10:00 pm, I’m freaking old. Old people go to bed by 10:00 p.m. We have a code. If you posted any gifs after that time, musta be geared more to our younger posters.
I never pay attention to time. All I know is I'm awake when I'm awake and asleep otherwise. Feel like I'm asleep right now.

Reminds me, since I've been ill the last few days, been having those dreams that are hard to tell if they're dreams or reality. Not convinced that my current posts aren't a dream.

God is good!! Praying for continued healing for her and peace for the family.

My first day I slept all day. When I woke up I was afraid I would not sleep that night. Two hours later I was back asleep and didn't wake up until 10 the next morning. Then for 3 days I was exhausted and napped continuously with body aches. Then came the post nasal drip and sore throat. I took a lot of vitamin C and didn't have much coughing and no chest congestion. At the end was the loss of smell and taste.
So what you're saying is if it is the COVID, I have a lot more to look forward to. Yay.

After finding out I was positive, I had no symptoms for about 5 days. Then it felt like a heavy fog had descended on me and I had no energy. Literally couldn’t walk a few steps and was exhausted and wanted to sleep. Never had fever, chills or congestion. Had the dry cough and loss of taste and smell. I still have the loss of taste after a month, which sucks in my line of business. I still have to rely on others to taste what I cook.

The one going around right now really is not that bad except for the exhaustion. Those are the same order of symptoms everyone I know has had the last couple of months.
