All these COVID regulations per NCAA have me confused. Not surprising. Do players like Eric Gray have to sit out 1 year when they transfer? Also, last season does NOT count towards years remaining to play CFB? Thanks guys.

The only way transfers are eligible immediately is if they transfer as a "grad transfer". Everyone was granted a free year due to Covid. Transfers can always petition the NCAA for immediate eligibility for various reasons---one being when the head coach is fired. It's a crap shoot.
