You’re the only person I know besides us that spends a lot of time on a balcony/ deck/ porch, as in nearly every single day.

Do you have any neighbors in the adjoining building who do the same, and you guys toast one another or something, or do they all hide in the A/C, peeping through the curtains?

We are continually amazed how rarely we see people sitting outside, chatting. This was true in Point Richmond as well. (This isn’t including grilling and gardening and fire-pitting. Just relaxing at the end of the day.)

No one spends as much time out here as I do, but there are a few regulars I see a good bit.

No toasts or anything, but during the shutdown people would do the banging on pots and pans at 8:00. There was also someone that played Taps every night.

I wasn't talking about the Japs, they actually dont bother me as much as crushed red pepper. I put it on almost errthang though.
