I don't hate Tee but I do think anyone involved with the previous staff needs to go. This place needs a fresh start and that should move forward with out anyone from the old establishment here.

Tee wasn't qualified for this job in 17 when he got pissed about it and he's not qualified now. Has nothing to do with race, I wanted Franklin here and was ready to welcome Strong with open arms. I'll take the realistic approach. Is Josh the best coach in the country or one of the best? Of course not. Is he the best we can get given the circumstances? Very probable. For me, that means we better get strong assistant coaches and then get a little lucky that this all works out. We desperately need stability here and count me in as a supporter. I'm heartened by the positive information about White to provide Josh the best opportunity. As for his somewhat joking comment about negative fans? I loved it.

You cannot under any circumstances blame the fans for negativity if you're a newly minted AD taking over a program with 5 coaches in 11 years and a cloud of sanctions.

It's just never that easy. It's so funny when fans complain about coaches and/or administration not being honest (already had one about Heupal being the only pick) and then, when they are finally honest, people don't like the answer. I get what you are saying, but what I have just stated is totally true. People just don't like the message, so they get mad.

Very likely we are going to be back here in 4 years. I'm not happy about it. But it is what it is. We are probably cellar dwellers for another decade.

Media and fans are the absolute two worse indicators of future success.
