Culinary, Arts, Thread.

Ginger root, raw turmeric powder, ground black pepper, olive oil and lemon juice tea. I started it for different reasons, but now I drink it because my joint pain and soreness is pretty much none existing.

Chia seeds are a no brainier. Tasteless, inexpensive and packed full of fiber and protein. I put them in and on almost everything.

Eggs and avocado with garlic and olive oil is breakfast. Too much healthy to list. Filling. Also, I haven't tried it yet but I have about 15 avocado pits drying so I can grind them to powder and use to sprinkle on food. The nutrients in them are supposedly through the roof.

I drink a tablespoon of olive oil first thing in the the am and last thing in the pm.

I pretty much eat fish, cous cous and spinach for my meals other than breakfast.

Weight lifting and exercise is another long story I'm sure no one cares about anymore than the book I just typed above. Lol.

Anyone drink wheatgrass? About 20 years ago I was on a big wheatgrass kick. I would go to the health food store and get a fresh drink of wheatgrass every day.

I nearly got my own setup to do it at home, but I guess I lost interest.

I used to get a drink at the Juice Bar that contains Wheatgrass, but haven't had it in years.

We were on a road trip and stopped at some friends’ parents house and they had wheatgrass that they turned to juice. They sold me on the health benefits.
Okay, so you're gonna make me google what the health benefits of it are instead of just telling me what the main ones were that interested you?

You think I remember that from 20 years ago?

I think eliminating toxins was one, I sure had a lot of those. Energy booster as well.

Did you ever check out Turnpike Troubadours? It’s cool if you did, cool if you didn’t. Cool if you didn’t like them, cool if you did. Just wondered

Are u drinking metamucil yet?

Yes I did. They're good no doubt, but I didn't care for the 3 songs I listened to.
everyone likes different things which is what makes this world go round. I think you said you were listening to Good Lord Lorrie, 1968, and Birdhunters. I absolutely love the last two. As I said back when you were inquiring about them, I could name different songs every day I'd recommend. All depends what kind of songs you like. I'm a ballad guy, so I'd steer you that way, but it might not be your thang.

Also, the diet stuff is awesome. Congrats on losing weight. I'm down 12 lbs since December, hoping to triple that up by end of April. And, I'm glad your back. Don't tell anyone I said that though.

Right now I'm listening to nothing but classic rock and only while "exercising" etc.

Congrats on your weight. I'm moving way faster towards my goal than I had thought I would, which is cool. I finally bought a Smart Watch just to help motivate me, and It's been a valuable tool. I love it. Actually got it's best version coming from Amazon today to replace it. It's a cheapy but perfect for me.

No, we don't have to go there. I bought a cheap one just to see if it helped me. I fell in love with the alarm function on it and it's accuracy counting steps and the mileage. Remember, the thing I liked best about this cheap piece of crap phone was the alarm. This vibrating alarm on this watch....all 10, is awesome! Lol. And, I don't need my glasses to read it.

Sorry, long story short. Instead of getting a real nice one like I had planned, I just upgraded to the cheapy that reads BP and o2. I'll have about $40 bucks in both. :)
