D players getting excited? Maybe they've found out who staff will be and are getting excited. Fingers crossed.

Hope so I’m stuck on Thamels comment in his article on the hire .he specifically points out that heupel will make around 4 million a year which allows him to lure a big name DC to SEC. odd for him to say that. He is in tune with goings in Fla area. Maybe he knows something

1. Sam Bradford, a 3 star QB, went on to win a heisman and be the #1 over all pick under JH.
2. Drew Locke,a 4 star QB, had a monster season under JH and extremely regressed under Dooley the following year... currently starting in the NFL.
3. Immediately After he left Missouri, they looked absolutely lost on offense against texas.
4. Has the personality that we haven’t tried before. Laid back, teacher, reminds me of leach in a way and has a NFL vibe to his demeanor. Isn’t a fake rah rah guy like butch tried to be. He’s himself. I appreciate it.
5. His offenses are very QB friendly and live off of feasting on the middle of the field with easy completions and YAC.
6. His offenses get the ball out quick so i think it will negate a lot of the good pass rushers we come across in the SEC. all of his offenses at Oklahoma, Utah state, Missouri etc all had really low sack rates. Ball is getting out quick and letting play makers run. *baileys quick release and touch is why i think he fits great here... but i also think hooker is a dark horse to win the job.
7. The closest offense to compare it too is the briles offense from Baylor.a lot of RPOs intended to cut the field in thirds. Live off the middle and try to beat coverages into one on ones on the outside.

Here’s a nice article breaking it down.

Film Study: Missouri’s Offense Resembles Standard High-Scoring Big 12 Team

7 will have to do for now.
Yeah, I posted earlier that in 2017 they gave up 13 sacks in 13 games. 5th fewest in the country. Missouri threw the ball like 500 times though and teams in front of them were option teams.

Bottom line?

@Atlanta VOL was wrong. @LA Vol was right. Plowman bit off way more than she could chew and she choked. We were better off leaving Pruitt one more year then firing him. That way we didn't self report to the NCAA. Then we probably could have had Freeze, Campbell, Fickell, or Fleck because we wouldn't have these incoming crippling sanctions.

We will be back here in 4 years. Enjoy the shi*show.

And the AA finds the 50+ level 1s and 2s and we get the death penalty. Cut the problem out and get ahead of it. This isn’t anyone’s fault but 3-7 and a AD who thougnt ge was above the law.

Literally they are the worst. The are embarrassing. They are continuing the toxic environment around our program. They don't know if this is a strikeout. The dude hasn't even had his press conference yet. They don't even know what the staff is.
Up in Tennessee now visiting. Drove through K-town to the Smokies and back yesterday. What a pathetic, low-watt station. I could only pick it up in and around downtown. Once east of Strawberry Plains or west of Papermill road, horrible reception. Basilio's station is just about as bad.

How in the hell am I part of the problem? At least I am not a major ******* like you.
A major what? You and people like you may be okay with mediocrity and being a loser in life but I am not.

Pruitt should have been fired after A&M but not because of the violations. Should have agreed upon a buyout behind scenes and went their separate ways. It was beyond obvious he couldn't get the job done and had immense issues with people in compliance and academia.

Now we have to settle for someone instead of being able to pick from a more esteemed crop. You can @me all you want I won't respond seeing as how the best retort you can come up with is ******(

I don't think it's the "Home Run" we all were expecting and hoping for but it's another "Wait and see" we have become use too. Time will tell but if he gets the right coordinators and puts together a good staff and not bring all his current coaches with him this could be a step in the right direction.
