Heupel's offense does generally use a mobile QB. I don't know that HB is a fit. That guy we picked up from Va Tech might be though.
I didnt like Dobbs at first. But looking back I think Dobbs is why we won a lot of the games we did. Jones didnt know how to use people properly. When Hurd asked to be moved to TE and he said no was a HUGE mistake. We lost Hurd because of that. And having Kamara the 2nd string RB was probably the best example of he didnt know how to use what he had.I think the biggest problem Butch had, outside of Dobbs, was using QB's there were not a fit for a RPO system. That and wildly predictable play calling.
RPO, Spread, Zone Runs, ISO runs (man blocking) and read option
The QB doesn't even have to run in an RPO offense lol, you hand off to the RB or pass the footballRPO’s, read options, anything relating to a QB run doesn’t bode well for Bailey at QB. Bailey looks to have some solid potential as a drop-back, pro-style guy, I’m having a tough time envisioning anyone falling for his actually running the ball or his fake runs.
Honest Fact: Josh Heupel had two 3,500-yard passers in three seasons at UCF. Tennessee's football program has had three 3,500-yard passers ever (Peyton Manning ('97), Erik Ainge ('07), and Tyler Bray ('12).

Better than Pruitt offense. Curious on keeping and D staff and Chaney and VFL’s.You and X's & O's guys speak up on how this guy's offense looks. Does he use TE's? Does it require mobile QB's? How elite is the speed he has had available at UCF? Will it probably require smaller linemen? Does he use a lot of misdirection? Does the QB ever take snaps under center? Does his offense throw the ball down the field? How does he use his RB's? Feel free to add any other questions.
