There are people on here that would rather hire the diarrhea wiped out of Auburn's ass as a head coach rather than a proven winner

lol

I know. But it’s true. Do you think that Josh Heupel would’ve kept playing Guarantano all season? We should’ve won at least two more games than we did and I’ll lay that all at the feet of Jeremy Pruitt. I’m glad he’s gone, regardless of the outcome of the coaching search.

What I find ironic is that people are upset about the new hire, and the money spent. People act like they’re actually the ones that are contributing financially to the school. I think it’s safe to say that at least 90% of people on this site don’t give a penny to the school. Myself included. I just want to see a competitive, well coached, disciplined, competent product so that I can enjoy my Saturdays.

You're preaching to the choir about how bad Pruitt is. Worst job I've seen, so far.
So, you see, using him for a standard after 15 yrs of suckage is not a real morale booster.

Things I like about CJH are his youth, already has a good, I assume, working relationship w/ the AD, and his high octane offensive mindset is needed desperately.

It might take a tight team of AD/HFBC to right this ship, over the long haul. Perhaps we've got one. I'm hesitantly optimistic.

The opposite is the fan who complains cause the hire isn't good enough for him. It's the equivalent of the loser looking at the super model saying "I'd hit it" like he's doing her a favor.
I had to ponder the analogy but think I get it, lol.
Entitlement is never pretty, loser or not, ha.
I'm ok with the Pollyanna stuff. It's the best I can do when I'm a bit disappointed yet still want to support.

I think we’re all in the same boat. I can’t imagine that anyone is ecstatic about this due to his win/loss decline over the last three seasons. One thing we have to keep in mind is that these hires take us one step out from the worst place we’ve ever been.

The brightest spots for me are that we don’t have to watch Pruitt on the sidelines, knowing that he is not the guy. We don’t have to watch Guarantano anymore, ever, ever again! And, we got the hire done in time for him to throw some Hail Mary’s up on the transfer portal.

So, it’s one of those situations where we all really wanted to get a nice meal like Ruth’s Chris, or melting pot. We even had the finances to go and eat there. The problem is that those restaurants were closed. Since we were starving, we’re happy to get Chick-fil-A because at least it’s not McDonald’s.

If CJH is the Chick Fil A hire, then the rest of our coaches have been the Jack In the Box 1993 Ecoli hires...

Lol. Fulmer was Long John’s, Kiffin was In and Out burger, Dooley was Subway, Jones was Pal’s, Pruitt was McDonalds.
Good comparison. McDonalds is where I can only assume people go if there is literally nothing else available within 100 miles.
