Je'Ron Stokes

Im sorry, I meant overall. I just got the feeling we wont be a QB at the next level. His only chance is at WR

Dream Team WR Corps:

Je'Ron Stokes

Marlon Brown

Randall Carroll

They would start right now in the four receiver set along with D. Moore.

Doubt Marlon Brown would start next year. He has literally played against the easiest competition in the state.

There is no way Brown would start over Jones next year. You may want to let Brown play against some decent competition before you pencil him in as a starter in the SEC.

I look at it like this. If G. Jones doesn't take his play to another level and improve his explosiveness he'll be on the pine next year.

His speed is lacking too. I agree with you on Jones, I'm not as high on him as others. Although I do think he has potential.

Jones is alright. He doesn't make people miss like some people think. He's only good enough to be a college slot receiver. Some people think he has pro potential.

anyways, back to Jeron Stokes

I would be happy to get him and Carroll. Marlon Brown is acting so prima dona right now. I really like Stokes and what he would do in this offense. He would mean as much to our offense as Julio Jones and AJ Green do to their teams. Not saying he's on their level as a athlete. But he would have that type of impact for our team.

RE Brown: IMO the reason a lot of blue chips bust at the major college level is that they played against weak competition in high school, and when the competitive bar is raised a lot, they simply aren't as good as recruiters thought. Of course this is true of about half the kids signed every year by every school.

I totally agree.

...if we had a QB capable of getting the ball to him.

Marlon Brown is strong enough to start right away. That's GJ's problem...not enough strength to get off the jam. I'm not so high on him either, I think he only showed moderate talent on an awful offense. Je'ron Stokes would play some and Carrol would get on the field a lot. We're just week at reciever...I like Ahmad Paige to play a lot more next year and if Abrams-Ward works hard in practice he could be an impact player as well. I would say move Austin Rogers to holder but I'm not sure he could reliably put the laces out. Like I said, we're just really week at reciever right now; there's just no way these potential freshman wouldn't see major playing time.

How can anybody say Marlon is stronger at this point though? He's much leaner and once again, he's going up against tiny, slow corners.
