I truly don't understand why Franklin would come here. The Nashville hospital thing doesn't hold much water. It's an hour difference in the air between State College and Knoxville. Would he be making that flight several times a week? And thus saving himself like 10 hours? That's the only way it makes sense. And even then it's a stretch.

He's got it made at PSU. Unless he has bungled the roster up there somehow and knows 2021 is gonna be a terrible year.

His family lives in Destin. If his daughter needs to be in Nashville, he would be 2.5 hours away instead of a flight from State College to Florida.

I mean, for me Schiano was a big NO because we fired Butch before Thanksgiving, we had WEEKS to find our guy.

They then leaked Schiano, who had been fired from Tampa Bay in 2013 & spent 2 seasons out of college/pros completely. And wasn’t even considered at Ohio State to replace Urban. He was then (and still is) a career sub 500 HC who legitimately violated numerous NFL rules and the players union went after him.

Are you that much of a brute you can’t see the patterns here? You think James Franklin is just that unlucky that these things keep happening? That he is a man with integrity but it’s all just bad luck and revenge that follows him?

My only 2 red flags with Franklin are the 4th and 5 run play call he had against Ohio State and the fact he lost to Kentucky in a bowl game once. Other than that hes a damn good coach
