I really don't get his shtick. He was all for Pruitt losing his job up until around the A&M game then his mood took a complete 180. It's just befuddling that he carried some much water for JP after crapping on him for several weeks. Hopefully he wasn't pulling a Rusty and delivering the bag as well.AP said he’s going to bed now that his daughter is off to school. He’s so butthurt about this entire situation.![]()
So what yer saying if I'm reading this right is Lincoln Riley is gonna be our coach today?Lincoln Riley signed a 6-yr, $45.21 million contract extension, just 6 months ago, making him the 3rd highest paid coach in college football. Average annual salary of north of $7.5 million/yr. I’m not even sure $10 million a year for 7 years would be enough to entice him to clean up this mess and continually face better competition playing from behind the 8-ball each year.

Volzown knew more than Hubbs and Hubbs basically admitted that. VQ is out of the loop. They had no idea DW was going to be the AD.I know many of you have Lost faith in the Vq guys but with the AD hire they knew the announcement was coming. They told us the timeline had been moved up and it was.
Today AP is going to bed. They don’t think it’s happening today and I believe them
You sure?
What was his role in the Ohio state issues?
Or they may know the Boosters directly involved....The thing to keep in mind with your traditional media people (VQ, 247, etc.) is that COVID has made this almost impossible to track. Interviews happening over Zoom and what not, along with most of their sources being gone has left them all guessing.
This is why people on boards like this have an advantage because they might know the IT guy who sets up all the Zoom stuff for the AD or whoever that tips them off.
I think Franklin actually makes alot of sense at UT.... SEC experience... won 9 games at an impossible job in Vandy... knows the state very well and could recruit the state very well imo. He's seen UT up close when he was at Vandy and I would guess always wondered what it could have been had he coached here vs Vandy. IF we're setting aside any scandal i'd say he's a great fit. the main question to ask. does he win? yeah the guy wins big everywhere he goes. He'd win big here too if we were lucky enough to land him and get past the scandal aspect of it all.If it’s Fickell versus Left Field that’s a pretty great group to be narrowed down, too.
I don’t care what Bob says, I refuse to believe James Franklin is a real option. It would make zero sense as he would not be a good fit here. And why would Franklin make a lateral move to a much harder job? It’s not him.
He has done nothing on VQ other than argue with fans for the past 8 weeks.I really don't get his shtick.
