VQ had White mentioned a few times pretty early on. Definitely seems like there’s some real juice behind the Elliott talk.

What does that matter? Lol most head coaches don’t even call plays. He can recruit and is one of the best dudes in college football. That’s more important than anything else.

He’s a coordinator that looks good because his players are elite. Sounds awfully familiar.

I think if you hadn't seen Sark as a HC previously, you would assume he was the greatest OC of all time with the clinic he put on in the championship game with the most elite talent. Just keeping things in perspective.

It is a concern that he has had generational QBs to luckily call plays for but then again once you get one it’s like a dominoe recruiting affect. You then can preach that to the Salters and Ty Simpsons and then you have your star QBs to call plays for.

I’d be more confident Elliot could slide into their situation and have success than ours.

I just don’t think Elliot is ready to move from maybe the most stable program in the nation to, well, dumpster fire.

Elliot would not be coach here with everything going on if it was stable and winning football team I would not mind not saying he would be a good coach just not time and place right now

It’s a risky hire.

It would be risky for white. He wanted to hire him UCF. Maybe he is ready now and white would do all the things to help him succeed. Still risky. But upside is massive.

Bette than hiring a safe lame sitting head coach.

I would be thrilled with others if they came as well.

The last part is the whole point.

We hired an AD with a track record for hiring. That expands the list and chances you find the right one and it can be multiple coaches.

At this point I think it's probably better to get a guy that has proven he can develop lesser talent than get a guy that has only dealt with elite talent. Because we ARENT getting elite talent anytime soon

This is a good point tho. If we hired joe Brady this place would go wild. They are virtually the same person.

They are not the same person and you know it. Your criteria for making that statement is why it’s hard to take anything you say seriously.
