Elliott has 1 year of being the solo offensive coordinator, right?

I have a buddy who played for Clemson. He’s famous for punching Chad Kelly before he transferred to Ole Miss.... He has said that Elliott is the OC and has been the OC. Even when he shared the duties with Scott before he left for USF.

That's all Pruitt brought to the table, turns out. Wasn't enough.

Elliott is more widely regarded as a very good HC candidate than Pruitt ever was.

I feel like the Elliot leaks are to give people something to talk about. A place to look. A sign of ok here is the floor if we have to go coordinator route. Better than our last floor

Same could be said for Pruitt. Would be incredibly stupid.

I feel like Elliot would be another Bama assistant situation. Great with great talent he is coaching. Would be an awesome pick if we played an ACC schedule.

But we are not Clemson level talent, and we play in the SEC. Dude would be in over his head.

You know that isn't true at all. Elliott is actually liked as a person. A ton of schools have interviewed him. CFB would sing his praise and he would be a minority coach at a premiere football school in the south. Recruits and families would love it.

Sounds alot like some defensive coordinator we know.

Here is another thing with Elliott..... Clemson looked awful against Ohio St without him there, that lends a bit of credibility that he is a good coach. Also working with Clemson he has re cruiting ties to where TN recruits. Lastly he gives us a good shot at getting Simpson.

I really want a guy with HC experience, but I am coming around on Elliott.

2 things.
1. Did you watch their game against OH St? Clemson's offense sucked without Elliott.
2. There isn't story after story coming out about Elliott being a raging ******* and Elliott has bounced around from school to school.
So he has all the good charictrasitics of Pruitt and the personality.

Maaaaan, how fun is this? We finally fired Pruitt and Fulmer, we then realized we have some serious big time admin in Plowman and Boyd, the younger big money boosters decided to break out the wallets, hired a top 4 AD, we’re about to hire a top tier HC and spring ball is around the corner.
