Scott Frost (Nebraska)

Now that we got the AD that hired him at UCF is it possible that we can get him to UT? And would you want him as coach or Josh Heupel?
NO and NO, UCF is on a downward spiral since Frost left and you really can’t argue that Frost pushed them to forefront because he had O’Leary players, JMO

Stories tell it was actually a Soviet-style steroid pumping system. Remember those guys throwing our defensive and offensive lines around for the first three quarters? Our boys were monsters too, and were just smashed. Nobody did that to those mid-90s UT teams, except Nebraska. UF beat us with coaching schemes. Nebraska beat us with Bull testicles and syringes.
I remember that game. The first time I’d ever seen any team just absolutely maul UT. Tennessee was who always did the mauling. They were usually the big bad scary looking team on the field. Tennessee might get beat once in awhile back then but they never got their asses handed to them like they did in that game. It was pretty shocking.

with Steele as DC, we need a guy that can put 40 points a game up.
There's no guarantee a new coach is going to keep Steele on in any capacity, same goes for all of our coaches. Chaney, Tee, Graham could all be looking for jobs this time next week.

I'm not saying it would be smart, but it could happen. Especially Chaney. If we hire an offensive minded HC he is probably going to want to pick an OC, probably one he has experience with.
i think if he gets hired he could end up firing chaney and pickin his own OC coordinator

Scott Frost is 12-20 as Nebraska's head coach while Pruitt went 16-19. Frost has turned into a BUST of a hire since leaving UCF...No thanks to him and No thanks to Hupel who is slowly tanking UCF

They beat Fl and Va Tech the same way.

Frost built that program. Heupel has had a worse record each year.

Between the 2 Frost and it isn't close.

You have to assume they have a history through UCF. Effectively won a National Championship in 2017. Dumpster fire at Nebraska but no one to recruit like he had in Florida where he still has connections.

I think this is going to happen.

He might be talked to but Nebraska is his home. I don’t see him leaving unless he feels the hot seat.

There would be a lot say no just look at his record at Nebraska because most everyone here just looks at records and won’t think about anything else, but you can’t recruit at Nebraska period. They will never be back. TN has a chance to be. We are in a good place geographically for recruiting

Stoerner_fumbles mentioned that Frost recommended White to the chancellor who knows Frost because she’s connected to the Big 12, he then went on to say it was hinted to him that the top of the pyramid guy was a guy that recommended him to the job TIFWIW, look up his name and you’ll see his post on it, he’s been accurate up to this point
