As many of you have stated, none of these guys have any real info. 2 days ago, John Brice reported 6 possible A.D candidates to watch for and White wasn't even on his list.

They all are just throwing random thoughts out. This regime isn't leaking.

Who will replace Phillip Fulmer as AD? Here are a few names to know

It can go very quickly. Parker keeps current files on the usual suspects. Candidates are pre-vetted, with agent intel on terms and numbers. UT Zooms the preliminaries, then does an in-person, generally at a central location. The parties are already in the same ballpark so they can come to terms quickly with mutual interest, then hash out the contract after an understanding is reached.

Can you put the kiffin rumors to rest, so we don't get destroyed when he isn't hired? In serious. I really don't want to get my hopes up. Be honest with me

I realize that the last four years, the winning percentage has dropped; but, that includes the worst season he has had there. Still, it adds, and is part of it. Still don't believe Shaw has fell off; but, understand why that may be the perception.

Not a fair comparison. Go back and look at Jones. He was signing 30 per class and artificially inflating the numbers. As soon as they cracked down on the blue shirt rules and they had to limit the number of scholarships (plus no more legacies) Jones' recruiting fell off a cliff. Pruitt's recruiting was objectively better.

Pruitt’s classes remind me far more of Dooley’s classes than CBJs (not sure where he comes in but I’m not sure you can say Pruitt’s were any better given their records). Dooley had a few heavy hitters, especially at the skills positions, but were meh over all. Neither Pruitt nor Dooley produced mega classes that a school like UT would have to cross too many lines for (just your usual level of p5 shenanigans). They were mainly ok with some genuine stars which is the point here. Pruitt shouldn’t have had to cheat his balls off for classes like he got. The press is acting like he was recruiting like Kirby and Saban but his classes were nowhere close to that. And UT coaches haven’t had to perform super human levels of cheating to get classes similar to Pruitt’s.

I get the feeling more will leak today as agents and coaches start to get a sense of who we're targeting and who isn't getting calls.

As of about mid-day yesterday, Chadwell said he hadn't heard from anyone at UT. He could be lying, sure, but could also be a sign the search is in a better spot than him at this point.

Interestingly, I've heard that Danny White is flying into Knoxville, doing the presser and meeting key people, then is apparently hopping on a flight *somewhere*.

I'm expecting a Monday press conference for the new head coach.

Do not leave Matt Campbells home until he gets everything that he wants.

I know some of you all don’t want Kiffin, and that’s completely fine, but the way you talk about him 13 years later is embarrassing.

Are people not allowed to change? Can you name one thing he has actually done in, let’s say the past 5 years, that you consider immature? IMO, he seems to have had his act together for quite some time. You take his Twitter trolling game way too seriously. It’s not that deep.

On the contrary, I think Lane using this opening to damage a rival while elevating the Lane/Ole Miss brand would be a shrewd move. The Memphis area is big for them, recruiting wise.

He made the lions a winning team for 4 years. Nobody else has come close to that much success there in decades.

Elliot is not a HC and it’s been stated multiple times they want a proven winner and active HC with p5 experience so why keep bringing his name up?
