WRT to the NLRB General Counsel.
"His term was slated to last until this coming November, but unions, including the Service Employees International Union and Communications Workers of America, had been urging Biden to break with precedent by forcing him out immediately, in order to begin reorienting the agency toward protecting workers."
"Critics of the move noted that former President Donald Trump refrained from firing Richard Griffin, the NLRB general counsel during the Obama administration, allowing him to serve nine more months until the end of his term. Before that, Ronald Meisburg, a Republican appointed by former President George W. Bush, served for more than a year under Obama."
You're not going to like this. But here goes.
The ad claimed "all" fracking. Biden (according to the earlier post in this thread) is banning fracking on federal land.
A quick google search indicated 20% of oil and gas reserves are under federal land. Biden, is maintaining his historical precedent of a do-nothing, career politician by banning something which will not impact 80% of the fracking industry. He gets to claim a victory and strut around. His supporters lap it up like a dog does vomit. All the while, not much changes.
Except gas prices as they never miss an opportunity to raise prices on ANY negative news for the industry.
that's even more prototypical Biden. Got this grand stance and it comes down to nothing changes and nothing new added.![]()
Actually this says new fracking on federal land. That's the thing about Xiden and dims in general - they skate all over the place, and qualifiers make statements mean nothing. You never know the real position - if it even exists.
