Napier will be a nice fallback, but he's not at a major program right now... yes he's a good coach, but with all the control demands, you think White is going to be newly hired and then just give some guy from a second tier football program in Louisiana, who's never been a HC at a Power 5 school that kind of control??? Low isn't ready to tip his hand yet if he knows. He was just on 104.5 and was talking up Tony Eliot or Jeff Lebby as possibilities if they went the coordinator route.

I think White has a reputation for identifying and hiring quality coaches. If he believes Napier can do the job he will hire him
