Have any of you guys tried the Hardees Pork Chop and Gravy Biscuit?

I have seen these commercials advertising it for weeks, but haven't been able to have one. It looks like the greatest breakfast biscuit ever made.

Haven't tried it either, but I know the pork chop biscuit is very good. I used to be addicted to their sausage and gravy biscuits, you could feel your arteries clogging while you savored those babies.

I use to eat 2 of their porkchop biscuts with eggs about 3-4 times a week before all the Hardees around me closed down. I was so excited when they reopened but they didn't have the porkchop biscuts anymore.:furious3: I guess I will have to stop by and see if they are back. I sure hope so.:)

When I was in college the Hardees on Riverside Dr. close to downtown Macon, GA had an all-you-can-eat sausage gravy biscuit deal for 99 cents on Sundays if I recall correctly. If you were real sweet to the ladies working the register they would tell the cook to fish out some extra sausage chunks for you.

That Hardees is now a Zaxby's. I think the grease is the same though.

Noted. I actually stopped there because one of my fraternity brothers (who you may know considering how small MaconGa is) was in on opening some of the intial Zaxby's in that area and I was curious what it was all about. Having tried it I must say that if I'm going to eat that kind of food I'd rather go to Guthries.

Which is comparable to saying puke>>>>crap. They're both appallingly awful.
. . . and if you are unsure how bad puke and crap are, just visit your area Zaxby's or Guthrie's and you are sure to find out 30 minutes later.

Living north of Tennessee, I must admit that I have resorted to Zaxbys more than once....just for the sweet tea.

I work next to a Zaxby's and across the street from Guthries. I choose Zaxby's every time I am in the mood for chicken.

Hardees has some of the worst bisquits on the planet. They are LOADED with grease. That's why they are literally so heavy. Should you have to venture into a bad neighborhood. A stop by Hardees is important. Carry two or three of their bisquits to use as weapons.

Little known Biblical fact. The Bible say David used a stone to slay Goliath. The Israeli army had stopped at Hardees that morning. David loaded a leftover bisquit into his sling. When he popped the big guy between the eyes with that lead weighted grease bomb...

The opinions regarding the taste of Zaxby's vs. Guthries may be correct. I've only tried Zaxby's once, in Macon, and did not think much of it. All of my memories of Guthrie's chicken fingers are swirled together with other delightful happenings that occurred during trips to Athens when I was in college and had an iron gut.
