Democrats plan to introduce articles of impeachment as early as Monday

What happened last week was a possible attempt to threaten the peaceful transition of power and it warrants scrutiny. However, I don't think it will be successful and for that reason I don't think it's a good idea. Not even six months, but six weeks ago I'd have said go for it. I'm sure McConnell wants him barred from running again, but he'll vote no if he can't get the votes.
Trumps rhetoric is the same political rhetoric that's been occurring on both sides of the aisle. Violence has been suggested his entire term by democrats. Maybe it's not "Trump" that needs condemning but the entirety of elected officials who used charged language to directly request or suggest "actions" against the opposing party. We accepted this buffonery years ago with BLM and Antifa. With Trumps rallies having violent act committed against people attending and no one condemned it.

Like I said the day of, I don't condone it but the Capitol riot was one of the least surprising recent events I can think of. It's not just "Trump". People are just outraged because now the other side is doing it

Nancy Pelosi says she will send Donald Trump's article of impeachment to the Senate in 'a few days' as Republicans say there are NOT enough votes to convict ex-president at trial which could take just three days

Will Nancy Pelosi be the first Speaker of the House to win a presidential impeachment conviction in the Senate, or will she be the first Speaker to lose two presidential impeachment trials?

Trump was already impeached. He remains to be tried, and some people do not want that to happen.

"I think the president bears responsibility for some of what happened. It was most certainly a foreseeable consequence of everything that was going on. I think that's widely understood and maybe even better understood with the perspective of time. I think that's separate from the notion of 'let's revisit this all and stir it up again.' Yes, the first chance I get to vote to end this trial, I'll do it because I think it's really bad for America. If you want to hold people accountable, there's other ways to do it, particularly for a president, including, as I said, the perspective of history." U.S. Senator Marco Rubio

So, Senator Rubio wants to hold Trump accountable by not holding him accountable, that is by letting history do that. Rubio knows that Trump will denounce him for voting guilty in the Senate trial, that voting his conscience will be really bad for him politically. Rubio calls what is really bad for him "really bad for America." He is among those Republicans who are proving themselves to be shamelessly immoral cowards.

Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) warned on MSNBC’s “The Sunday Show with Jonathan Capehart” that former President Donald Trump would attempt “to take over legislatures, little towns and cities.”

Therefore, she said he must be convicted in his impeachment trial to “take away his power.”
😂😂
Trump getting in her head still. Oh boy. Looney bin has struck again.
