Will you calm down. Let's see who they hire for AD, go from there. No need to get yourself worked up just yet. If they hire an Ingram, or a Gilbert, or a Blackburn, then that's a great step in the direction away from destruction.

10 years of terrible football might have something to do with that. During this 10 year stretch, UT has not shown a willingness to do what is needed and hire a big name coach who brings stability. Always an up and coming Joe mcgoogle.

My guess is we’re going to look for the Rick Barnes football equivalent. Someone with experience who can rebuild an actual culture from the ground up. By many standards it will be a boring hire but may work out in the long run.

I thought Pruitt was supposed to be the stabilizing hire/placeholder hire so the next hire could be the grand slam championship coach. 🤔

I agree Atlanta VOL is not some nefarious Mastermind, but many need to face the fact that if he were remotely legit he would not still be posting here. By his own admission he is a booster who has been personally involved in the recruitment of many of the various individuals now reportedly under scrutiny (Mims, Gray, Washington, etc.) and would have gotten a cease and desist letter from the school a long time ago, not to mention his own lawyers would have read him the riot act even before that. If he is nonetheless who he has represented himself to be and is still in here running his mouth he's dumber than Pruitt ever thought about being.
You stated he was not bringing in any inside information a few days ago and was a fraud. I believe most of us value his posts more than your rants against him.

This is a link to a post on a Texas board summarizing what went wrong with Tom Herman. Worth a read, even though it doesn't get into any of the real salacious stuff that is floating around out there about his behavior off the field. Most of that is message board stuff, so hard to tell how much to believe. Probably the straw that broke the camel's back was how Herman handled The Eyes of Texas issue, which wouldn't be an issue that would follow him to Knoxville.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, I think Herman would be an upgrade over what we've had, but I still have concerns about his maturity levels for a big job like this, and he needs to do some self-scouting about how things broke down for him at Texas. I think if he does that, he can have a successful second act. He reminds me a lot of where Lane Kiffin was when he got fired by USC.

Tom Herman Fired as UT Football Coach
I have heard many of these before and that Herman is a terrible person. Do not want him here.

About the snitch:

Wasn't AV or a coup attempt.

A person complained to someone who worked directly for Plowman about players getting improper benefits and not giving a crap. They told Plowman and she acted. Genie out of the bottle. A little bitchin' that got to the wrong people.

I was told the name of both people. It serves no purpose to say them because it will bring an avalanche of hate down on them and their family.

I was told yesterday that it is out there and will break. Tifwiw.
Yesterday Basilio said that the staffer who went to Plowman learned about the improper benefits directly from Pruitt because of something Pruitt said to them. Does that sync with your intel?

Agreed. We were well on our way when he was here the first time. However, he recruited a bunch of low character kids that didnt stick around long. I hope he evaluates a little more now. His entire class didnt last here.

I agree. I hope and think that was because of the time factor and he had to get some bodies.

A lot of people are saying that Steele is going to be promoted to full time head coach. What I don’t get about that theory is obviously Steele was hired by Fulmer, most likely. So would Boyd and Plowman tie there self to a guy that is here because of the man who got us into this mess? Please tell me they’re not that stupid!?

No. A person close to a player complained to someone who works for Plowman that some players "Got Theirs" meaning improper benefits and quit giving a crap , going through the motions etc.

Makes sense

Sounds to me there are two levels to this.

One the initial part you are talking about here and then another part where there was more info shared when things weren’t appearing to be enough to get Pruitt fired.

This was the timeframe where players were actually suspended and the “new info”
Was found talk here
