vq has been very consistent during this deal. They said Pruitt wasnt going to fired by fulmer or negotiate a buyout. That a final decision would come after the investigation and that Plowman would make the call. They were spot on

How do you think Plowman and Boyd handled today?
I thought their glowing review of Fulmer was a bit much. I was surprised Plowman said the lengths Pruitt and staff went to in order to try and cover things up.

And I thought Fulmer's response to how he would summarize Pruitt's tenure was awful.

Everyone can be mad at AP and say he carries water for coaches, but that’s also why he has good info during each coach’s tenure. He’s really good at connecting with the coaches and earns their trust, so I’ll trade him sticking by them a little too long for the tidbits he gets the while those staffs are here.

Dude is really good at earning peoples trust. Pretty sure he got his job at VQ because he got eric berry’s commitment scoop when Eric didn’t talk to anyone. If EB trusts you to talk to you, that says something.

Agree. I don’t see him as long a term answer at all. But I’ll take him for a year over 3 years of another Dooley. There will be no recovery if we botch this

What I think will happen because we are UT...

Yep. A complete microcosm of his tenure. How was he not coached up enough by PR and Comms to not mention anything about what UT was literally firing Pruitt for? They really didn't need to polish his nuggets either that much either. If the coach shouldve known about his assistants violating the NCAA standard, how wasn't the AD? Retirement my cheeks.

This gets my blood boiling. That's a bit more than slipping a prospect an extra slice of cornbread at the dining hall.
