I understand that the Interim 20201 Steele hire is probably going to be attractive to the administration, but I hope this isn't the case. The in-state class of 2022 & 2023 will be huge and we need to start building relationships now. Hopefully, this is a swift and successful search over the next 2-4 weeks, but I have a feeling knowing how Tennessee does things it won't be.

Unpopular prediction:

UT will take 10-14 days to hire new AD. Mark Ingram or Jon Gilbert
Steele will coach 2021 Season as IHC.
AD announces new HC November 2021

If all this was done without a plan then the entire leadership needs to git.

If there is a plan, it better be a good one. The final nail is about to be driven into this coffin.

I don’t think Plowman is going anywhere. She’s new, and people seem to like her. We can’t keep a revolving door of chancellors either. Need stability up top.

We’re not hearing names from actual credible sources. I’ll wait before igniting.
I’m not igniting yet but I’m preparing for it. I was on the fire Pruitt train before most but this doesn’t feel like a football move at all. He isn’t even being fired for football reasons (that was outright stated early on) so if the boosters weren’t moving because he was a horrible HC who proved to be too far out of his element to succeed and went 3-8 in year 3, including getting wrecked at home by UK in record setting ways, it’s hard to believe that football success is suddenly on their agenda. I hope like hell they prove me wrong.

We are still falling, haven't yet found rock bottom after all these years. These multiple violations might finally hit that rock. We might have just killed ourselves. Death penalty.
take a deep breath... I don't think ATL Vol would be talking about F U money and the other if he knew we were screwed. I personally think we get a Herman and have to pay maybe a little more than we want so that he can wade through this ...

The investigation started because Pruitt let his circus get out of hand. They had no choice but to investigate once they heard what was happening. He brought it on himself.

Of course they had a choice. Cheating happens every where. There’s no way ADs, Chancellors, presidents don’t have an idea of the lengths programs will go to get the edge.

O'Brien would be a nice nutkick to Bama too since they've all but locked him up as their OC.

Go to Bama with no stress and excessive amounts of talent or stress out at Tennessee?

If they want him bad enough they’ll pay

maybe I just don’t want O’Brien
