The Big Tech March to Silence Free Speech

I've never stepped foot on Twitters front door so I have no idea what happens on this platform. What I have noticed is that it seems to be the basis for news todays. News articles are just a constant rehash of tweets like they're fact.

One reasonably nice development - there don't seem to be as many tweets posted here right now. The lefties won't post their own brand of hypocrisy, and the right can't go there ... twitter silence is golden.

Let me ask you something - what is your beef really?

I mean did you not see the video where George Floyd was choked to death by police officers in broad daylight? Are you OK with that? Can you understand why people would be angry about that?

And why is it that you're so upset that Parler is going bye bye? Do you truly believe that Donald Trump had this election stolen from him? Because if you believe that I can't help you dude.

George did stupid stuff and won a stupid prize ... isn't that what you leftists said about the capitol hill raiders?

They’ve now gone after Ron Paul.

There’s a war on and the leftist technocrats are leading the bitzkrieg. There’s a war on alright. This shift in the House, Senate and Oval Office serves as the green light for them to implement the methods learned from China in handling dissent.

Inciting violence is illegal regardless of the why.

That's true, but there's the group who are willing to twist any statement into something meant to be subversive. A simple statement of dislike or disagreement can be turned into hate speech, sedition, or inciting a riot. As long as that is the way things are, then anything or nothing can be inciting violence; the end result, it's either unpoliceable or a political weapon because there is no attempt at understanding or reason. It's going to be a sad day when we have a Thought Police.

When I used to go the used oil recyclers meetings every day started off with a lecture on collusion and anti-trust.
Have you ever been to Troy Indiana? I spent the better part of a winter in that place setting up a filter at an oil recycler to filter soaps for one of our process oils.

Yep, many times. Send our antifreeze there for recycling.

Here's the obvious fallacy in your non existent logic:

George Floyd was actually murdered by policemen. THIS IS A FACT.

Donald J Trump claimed he had the election stolen from him. THIS IS A LIE.

See the difference?

One set of riots had a legitimate basis, the other had no basis whatsoever.

You're moral equivalency is absurd.

Re-read/re-think this and get back to us.

Interesting, I haven't been there in probably 20-25 years and I don't remember the name of the place, but it was a family owned company and Troy is in the middle of nowhere.

I think it's changed hands a few times, it's now CHEM Group. Mainly recycles glycol.

I'm glad it's still in business. We used to fly into Evansville on a plane that I called the cigar, a turbo prop, single seats on each side for about 5 or 6 rows with 3 across the back, had to do the duck crawl to walk down the isle. Followed that ride with a 2 hour car trip to Troy, fun times.

I was never on Parler, so I wouldn't know. From what I understand, it was a right-wing echo chamber for the types who listen to Mark Levin... and believe what he says.
Well earlier you posted it’s being shutdown because of illegal content now you saying you don’t know because you were not in there. Just admit you are a fraud and have no clue what you are talking about

You’re literally celebrating this like it’s a great thing.

My company requires all exempt employees to take annual anti-trust training.

This will end up in court - not sure why so many on the left act like this is to be applauded.
He is, communists don’t want those with differing opinions to be heard

I just realized something. In the past few years, we've progressed to a point where Rs trust the government and Ds trust huge corporations.

The big corps and Wall St have for decades always overweighed their support to Dems 75/25 (Luther outta my ass stat but within MOE). Got to chip in JIC. Even during Occupy Wall St. Played like fiddles.
