Chadwell isn’t ready for the TN job. He needs to take a PAC-12 job for awhile to hone his chops. If you think any SEC defensive coordinator would fear his offense then you are sadly mistaken.

Leach literally been there one year. Gotta see if he can land himself a QB.

Let’s revisit after a few years before we say he can’t compete in the SEC. It’ll be interesting.

Based off the past few years recruiting rankings they were both on the same level recruiting wise. To say Freeze had superior talent is just flat out false.

Regardless of who we hire I really hope the crew from fan run doesn't run over to Neyland with a bullhorn trying to stir sh!t up again, the first time was what it was but the 2nd time will do irreversible damage

Positive: He's a Chad
Negative: Not enough experience

Kiffin
Positive: Ladies Man (Heather knows what I'm talking about:
Negative: He's a ladies man, ****ing college girls aint cool

Freeze
Positive: He just chillin, seems nice
Negative: I'd rather be warm

best: allegedly brings NFL assistants
worst: his college record and league record

Chadwell:
Best: coach of the year, new offense
Worst: the unknown and high risk

Kiffin:

Best: SEC experience, a lot of offense, QB development
Worst: flight risk

Freeze:

Best: Experience, QB development
Worst: Baggage, hookers

Pruitt:

Best: more assistants to “help”
Worst: 3-7

As to why he would want to put up with all this, who knows? Maybe he thinks it's a challenge and he's up to it, maybe he's good at blocking out noise or maybe he's been told to keep quiet and do his job while we work through this. Lawyers and agents are infinitely more patient than clients and fans.

Marrone-been there, done that, plenty of experience at all levels with good success. Only negative is some fans won’t approve

chadwell: hometown “vol”, plenty of success as head coach, has zero Experience in big boy football as player, assistant coach or head coach

Kiffin: can’t cross the bridge he burned a decade ago:

feeeze: by far the best coach we could hire IF he could win at this level with the ncaa eyes staring squarely on him.

Pruitt: is 2020 his EDo Ole miss, if not he can’t keep his uneducated redneck hands off the coordinators playbook

If Steele was coming in as a position coach or coordinator and Pruitt had a say in the hiring, that would speak volumes to me.

However, as an analyst or off field coach, this doesn't tell me anything one way or another on Pruitt.

All it says is that the AD wants Steele involved in someway moving forward.
