He's more plugged in than anybody will give him credit for. He occasionally will take a personal opinion of his and try and pass it off as a "rumor" that he heard, but he does hear stuff.

People on VN don't like him because he's a Yankee with a bad radio voice. If he was a good ole boy from East Tennessee, his show would be wildly popular here.

Think about it for a second. I realize he did good with CC. But how did his team do against Freeze? Sorry but CC isn’t playing big boy football like the SEC. Look at Leach. A veteran HC and he got smacked around in the SEC.

Chadwell isn’t ready for the TN job. He needs to take a PAC-12 job for awhile to hone his chops. If you think any SEC defensive coordinator would fear his offense then you are sadly mistaken.

Yeah Pruitt is involved in hiring coaches. He is staying as coach.

He went .500 at Syracuse where the previous 4 years they won a total of 9 games, he was 4-5 against the top 25 at that time.
Syracuse has never recruited well so he did more with less.

Before you start judging his time in Jacksonville you may actually want to read into the circumstances and just how much turmoil Tom Coughlin caused behind the scenes especially with running off half of his roster.

How is he not a terrible coach? He is 21 games under .500 in the NFL. He is .500 in college and hasn't coached college in 9 years. Jalen Ramsey also demanded a trade after a sideline argument with Marrone. I guess he is good at tanking since he was able to be worse than Adam Gase and the Jets.

He was on the big air waves back in the early 2000s in knoxville. Has nothing to do with good ole boy. He lurks or posts on here. He referenced the coaches wifes Facebook marketplace items last week.

My opinion is Kevin Steele has blacklisted himself with the way he worked with Auburn's boosters to undermine his head coach and we're helping out an alum.

If the official Tennessee account confirms it, that would mean the hiring freeze is over and I think it would mean Pruitt is back. However, until we get that, there's no way to be sure.

Texas lost to TCU 3 of 4 (and that is definitely like us losing to Vandy). I was born in Texas.
