The Big Tech March to Silence Free Speech

When was the switch flipped to where the liberals covet and hold government sacred?

That was when government bought their affections by giving the looney left (and the under privileged) "free stuff". They've grown dissatisfied with cheese and no federal income tax and expect more now.

Why?
Why would the "left wing" mouthpieces run from their viewers?

In general we dont look for news anymore, but rather confirmation on what want to believe. And there's no reason to fool yourself that's happening on both sides.
The viewers were running from Fox. They have to decide where to position themselves on the rightwing scale while also considering how much journalistic integrity would have to be sacrificed in order to hold that position.

I thought they were going for 72% on the rightwing scale with 28% journalistic integrity, but this move makes me recalculate to 87% on the right wing scale with 13% journalistic integrity.

As opposed to their "so called" competition like CNN which is 100% left wing and 0% integrity.

Heh. Clever. But the problem with such logic is that we overthrew the *British* government - not our own government- that ruled us a colony, so the analogy is fundamentally flawed.

Uh, no. It was "our" government because the Brits colonized the place. Our affections shifted when people became rebels and rejected the established government and overthrew it. It's kinda why we refer to it as the "Revolutionary War". The "Civil War" was basically a revolution by part of the states; they were just kind enough to send a message saying "we're out", and the damn yankees had their feelings (and pockets) hurt and started a war.

So who you got, skinny jeans men or flyover men?

Major national corporations announcing they will cut off donations to all congressmen who challenged the election results on Wed.

That's when I'd get busy and start a call for real campaign finance reform - complete with calling out corporations on the basis of limiting free speech. Then I'd get really nasty about collusion between the other politicians and the corporations. If your bridge is getting torched, you might as well make it impressive and see how much other stuff you can bring down.

Millions of WhatsApp users ABANDON the app and switch to rivals Telegram or Signal ahead of privacy policy update that will force them to share their personal data with Facebook

Millions of WhatsApp users have taken the drastic step of abandoning the app ahead of a privacy policy update that will force them to share their data with Facebook.

The update, which will be released on February 8, affects WhatsApp users in all countries outside of Europe and the UK, where there are strict data protection laws.

Users in these regions will be required to give their consent for Facebook to access their data, including their phone numbers and information about how they interact with others, in order to continue using the app.

The requirement will apply regardless of whether or not the WhatsApp user has a Facebook account.

Fox News Channel is removing one of its only nighttime hours of news coverage and replacing it with a right-wing opinion show, signifying a further shift toward the incendiary programming that Fox viewers overwhelmingly prefer.
Martha MacCallum's show wasn't considered to be opinionated? Uhh, what? She may not be as forceful as as Tucker Carlson and Sean Hannity, but she definitely provides her own take on the topic at hand.

Conservative radio talk show hosts put on notice.........

A company that owns hundreds of talk radio stations has threatened to terminate hosts for suggesting the 2020 election was stolen

Cumulus Media, which owns and operates hundreds of talk radio stations throughout the country, told on-air personalities to stop suggesting 2020 election fraud or face termination

Maybe people are actually starting to realize the dangers and unethicalness of continually and knowingly lying to the gullible base.

Lol. Calling out stupid s**t like reparations isn’t right wing. Calling out the incessant race pandering isn’t right wing. Calling out the egregious media bias and social media bias as well as the current censorship isn’t right wing. Calling out the lefts hypocrisy on an array of subjects isn’t right wing. All of this is just common sense, something the left sorely lacks.

You lost me there, but if you are asking what I think you are. I'll take guys living in flyover country all day long if there's a new revolution. Besides the clowns in skinny jeans overheat the bits and pieces by keeping them close - rendering them impotent - probably a good thing - evolution being what it is.

Maybe it's just time to recognize and admit the whole election fraud scam was not only a lie, but dangerous and harmful.

Did you read it? I didn't open it when I noticed it was CNN. Which show is gone and what took its place? I haven't watched Fox in over 2 months

No different than the viewers run CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC.......and others that depend on viewership to stay on the air.

The rest of your post holds no relevance after that fact.

Obviously, our revolution was the result of the British government's rule over us. So, it was not *our* government, it was *their* government.

In short, we dis not overthrow our own rule, because we weren't ruling ourselves.

You're invested in circular reasoning here. Summary of our conversation:
Speech is limited.
Political speech intended to have no limits
Not when overthrowing government
FF overthrew the government.
It wasn't their government
Then who did we declare independce from
Britain ruled over the FFs but it wasn't our government.

None of your spaghetti is sticking to the wall, here.

If the FF intended for political speech to be free but did not intend for it to be free with respect to "our" government, why is freedom of speech not relegated to speech about British rule?

What else would Rush Limbaugh have to talk about? The potential hazards of smoking, maybe?

Maybe it's time for your type to recognize the mail in voting for what it was - planned election fraud using a "crisis" for credibility.

If you're running yourself can you really overthrow yourself? Aren't you still in charge either way?

It's a head scratcher for sure
