No it wouldnt. They can afford it. And will keep doing it as long as tickets are sold. Chadwells offense would sell tickets. It’s innovative and different.
Makes sense.Y’all don’t understand the timing. Fulmer has to wait for the semester to start and the get the first week or so of classes done so players will be less likely to transfer and have the opportunity to at least meet a new coach.... if he concluded this a week ago then there would be lots of players leave in time to enroll in a new school for Spring semester
But you guys want thin skinned freeze. LolHe's never been around a place like this before, UT has 24/7/365 coverage and that's more than a lot of NFL teams. The praise that comes with this job when things are good is near heaven but when things are bad you'd probably rather go to hell and face the devil. I don't think he could handle it, JMO
Did you happen to notice the difference in how much they were scoring before that game? My point was not the overall Auburn defense in the game, it is that one bull strong guy at NT almost singlehandedly stopped the Oregon offense at key moments in the game. That Oregon team had 449 yards of offense and just lost by three in the national championship game.
That’s what UT does unfortunately. I agree it’s a big hire and we need to go big, but we all know what this administration will do...none of us know. we're speaking in hyptheticals. it's called conjecture.
my point is that this is/will he the singular most important hire for Tennessee in 20 years when that time comes. they cannot afford to buy from the bargain bin.
Sometimes that is true..... here is what I come up with comparing some of the average yards per play..... Ohio state 7.5, FAU 2017 6.8, CC 6.7, liberty 6.5, Louisiana- Laf 6.3, FAU 2019 6.0...... I’m not 100% sold him but it still seems pretty impressive.I don’t think that’s expected with the schedule he played. I’ve seen a lot of “mid major” football and it’s often times more offensive than the power 5
Chadwell is Coach of the Year...while he may be cheaper than others, he is not just a "Bargain bin hire"none of us know. we're speaking in hyptheticals. it's called conjecture.

Let be honest and look at their schedule. If this is an out scheme over achieve the oppositions Talent offense the BYU game is the one to see that in. The bottom line is that was their worse game of the season where there weren’t balanced. You can say they take what the defense gives them but in this case the defense gave them their worse performance of the year.
they won the game with great defense
If we hire him, we get to see who is correctNo doubt. I think it’s a good debate on what’s more better on a resume, a successor power 5 coordinator or head coaching experience at his level.
it’s hard to argue against the Head coaching experience with what’s going on right now but none the less I think it’s a good debate
