I think Brohm blew his chance when he turned it down then. He was coming off 3 really good seasons at WKU and took a Purdue team to 7 wins in his first year when they had 3 the year before. He is 12-19 since then. And again, I am not advocating for a coach just for simply bringing x coach up and asking what the general consensus is.
Just because I’m not obsessed with coaches who are NOT going to be hired here like Freeze, Campbell, Kiffin, Fickell, etc., doesn’t mean I don’t know what I’m talking about.
I bring Brohm up because I know for a fact we hired him in 2017 and that Peyton, the Haslams, and Fulmer were all on board with it and they will all be involved this time around so it’s possible, maybe even likely, they call Brohm again to see if he’s still interested. And things at Purdue haven’t taken off for him like he assumed it would, so my bet is he would be inclined to move if we called.

Just about every athletic program is better today, than it was December 1, 2017. Football isn’t the only thing on Phillip’s priority list. Which is also better, by the way.My post isn't about Fulmer. It's you. You missed the whole point of my post but I will say this, Fulmer's backing of a loser, his living in the the coaches meeting room and interrupting practice trying to coach. He WAS a coach but a terrible AD and the Lady's B Ball hire will be his next failure that the new AD will have to fix. But I'll make this easier for both I will put where I put Bruin.
Thank you sir. You are a scholar and a gentleman.Professor Toru Tonaka. View attachment 337965
He would have to be paired with a great defensive staff...but then so would every other offensive minded dude we have been talking about. He should have taken this job when he had the chance.Brohm would check the box in being a quality offensive coach. The way he handled that young fan with cancer being a part of the team was amazing. Purdue running Ohio State and Urban Meyer was great.
Besides that, he's been mediocre at best at Purdue.
I tend to agree with this assessment, however, I could see him being the pick of a couple of others turn us down.I think Brohm blew his chance when he turned it down then. Maybe every other team in the east is a game easier than the west but not our schedule bc we have bama ga fla every yearIf there's a positive takeaway, it's this - the East is probably 1 game easier than the West. Take all those 4 loss seasons and make them 3 loss seasons. I think I could live with that. Still hate his record vs Smart though. Not good.

Much like Marrone with Syracuse, the record doesn’t tell the full story regarding Purdue.
