we know, without question that he loves TN. And is a damn good recruiter. RB was actually a bright spot this year.
So....we need someone like that in state and NC.
I’m not so sure about this. Pruitt has been given everything he needs to succeed here. I believe we’re top 5 in athletic spending. Unless your name is Nick Saban, you’re always going to have big dogs in your ear with things. That doesn’t necessarily mean you have to listen. He wants to run the football program without interference or input from the athletic department or boosters.
He wants a beefed up support staff (which we’ve already given Pruitt.)
He wants everyone rowing in the same direction.
We are not a fit with this.
We have no problem spending money, but there are a lot of hands in the mix.I’m not so sure about this. Pruitt has been given everything he needs to succeed here. here is a great interview with Jeff Fisher. Good dude.

I like him too. Put him in the “we definitely wouldn’t suck” bin.I'm officially on the Fischer bus. Could be a phenomenal hire and is very low risk. Hearing those comments about studying compliance, fascinated by SEC, making an impact on student athletes and then the article earlier about his respect for UT and saying he wants the job if it opens plus his ties to the state of TN....it's a no-brainer.
Give that man his money! (Malkovich voice) And give him control.
IMO, he'll "retire" before they fire him..... a second time.. I don't think either side of the equation wants the embarrassment of him being fired again. They'll do the proverbial "thank you for everything you've done for the university, but bye."I think Fulmer may survive the initial “fire” wave. But after the dust settles I can see home “retiring”
How do they make it harder on the coach? If you’re at a place that gives you every resource you need to win like a Tennessee, that’s all you can ask for. You succeed or fail based off your own merit. And when you don’t listen and have boosters like Tennessee has they work the back channels and make it harder on the coach.
