Maybe that was the plan all along by the people who made the investigation public?...nah who am I kidding!?! This is UT were talking about! Their strategy is a little more like thisYall are really underestimating how few coaches will want this job when we are dangling our current one out like fish bait. There is one man in my opinion who would take this regardless of the perception of the job & thats Freeze.
Irrational to see that a 3-7 coach with more blow out losses than our past two failures combined is not going to work out? Ok guy. Go troll on another board. We do not have strong leadership. In fact, if you read some national news reports, they will tell you how dysfunctional our administration is. Fans need to tell our terrible administration we are done and not show up to any games. Maybe they will get the point that losing is not ok and their terrible decisions are ruining this once proud program. We are the laughing stock of the SEC because of our “leadership”so take your dumb a** comments somewhere else. This fanbase eats its own, and that’s a problem. Fans are irrational and should not be the key influence in decision making. Strong leadership overcomes this, and that’s what we have in Boyd, Plowman and Fulmer. Be prepared for Jeremy to be back next season.
What support system are you speaking of, specifically? Someone posted a David Ubben article from the Athletic listing all of the facility upgrades and other off-field advantages we have, and saying that it shouldn't be an impediment to hiring someone.Napier wants a support system in place before he will accept any job..... Tennessee does not and apparently will not do that here..... I don’t think we will hire freeze but even if we did..... I don’t know if he could stay here the way our support system is.

Haven’t been under the same leadership for a decade. Cleaned house after the Currie fiasco and things have been moving in the right direction. Infighting goes on at every university across the country. Tennessee is no different. Be prepared for Jeremy to return, and to go 8-4 next year. The forest and trees have been on fire for a decade, but leadership has continued to throw amateur firefighters at it. Give me an irrational fan base if that's what strong leadership is all about.
