I would say disconnect is being kind. It's pretty obvious Pruitt has pissed off a lot of the wrong people.. Add to that, he's NOT Saban so they're done with him. I just hope whatever they negotiate his buyout down to will cover the damage being done by the tactical nuclear option they're using to try and get rid of him......

Don't care how many times this has been said, here it is again. 13 years is enough. We have to fix this and fix this now. We can't afford to be here again in another 3 years. We need to hire a proven winner. Hugh Freeze is that guy. Freeze is the answer to our problem. He would come in here and he would win immediately. He knows this league, he knows how to recruit, he knows how to beat the top teams in this league. What he did at Ole Miss was extraordinary, especially doing it with Bo Wallace and Chad Kelly. He is an offensive coach and this is now an offensive game. He is the answer.

And you know what, he would take the job. Some have speculated that this investigation will make it hard on us to hire a new coach. Well, not if that coach is desperate for a job and no one else will interview him because they're afraid of the weak and powerless NCAA or the media. TN needs to go all in and say, "we don't care what you think." Most of the media seems to not care about Freeze anyway. Will Wade is still at LSU. We need to win. Freeze is a winner. He would take this job tomorrow. Do we want to win or not?

Im not sure the problem created will be fixed with $ saved. At least not by itself.

One thing that was illuded to in that podcast was that this tactic may also be used to fight the ridiculous buyouts now being commanded.. Maybe some good could come from it by pushing things more towards performance/incentive based contracts.

It really is just our luck that we have possibly only one candidate who would take this job after Pruitt and its a man who has wanted this job his entire life & beat the #11 team in the nation in a bowl game at LIBERTY. Freeze is my number 1 and number 2 isn't close.
