Nice to see A&M bring Kentucky down a couple notches tonight. Needed to happen. They still don’t look humbled enough.

Kentucky spent too much time trying to get Howard shots and hardly anybody else scored. Love Gary Blair’s teams. He’s such a schemer, Kentucky played right into their hand tonight. Funnily enough A&M did to Kentucky what Kentucky did to Arkansas. Controlled the tempo, slowed the pace and limited their opportunities.

Only 4 made 3s on 28% shooting for Kentucky compared to 14 on 50% shooting against MSST.

I was wondering the same thing... Does anyone know what happened ? Were they on the bench?

I really want it not to be disciplinary on any level. I also don’t want it to be injury...

Also Blair Green 6-0 is running into the same problem she had last season. Don`t get me wrong she has improve. But against A&M and SC she just don`t match up well against the two teams.

I did not see either player on the bench last night nor in the team huddles during timeouts. Disciplinary was the first thing that came to my mind as well :(

Let’s hope i’ve really enjoyed the Kellie Banghart comparisons on here and haven’t been able to keep track because they haven’t been playing.

They had some travel issue earlier which is weird because it wasn’t covid related ... so to cancel a game over that was strange (i guess it thought all major schools have access to jets for the players and coaches lol)

Lol speaking of transfers, someone in this thread mentioned watching out for players transferring out when Mitchell resigned. Unfortunately, if Patterson decides to use her free year of eligibility to play basketball again next season then UK will need to handle what looks to be an interesting situation. On the court at least, Howard and Patterson are having issues with each other and it is OBVIOUS. Has been for a few games, but I’ve recently given it more attention in the first 2 SEC games. Howard has even been refusing to huddle up when she’s (Patterson) on the floor and makes a mistake (bad foul, TO, etc..). Now, I could be reading way too much in to it, but it’s definitely noticeable to an avid fan. I know they definitely hope to try and keep Howard from spending her final year on an actual title contending team, but even her demeanor and play has been something to note. As a UK fan, I know I see these things differently and a little more closely than others on this forum, but I’m just putting it out there. It will be something to watch as we try and finish up this season and head in to the next one. Unfortunately for us, but perhaps good news for everyone else, I could see Howard on a Louisville, UConn, or SCarolina team next year... Again, I hope not, but just my thoughts lol
