Yeah. So basically news of CJP's extension broke the week the season opened against USCjr. And regardless of what a troll on this board says it raised a lot of eye brows with fans that follow the program on a larger scale then the 'average fan'. But he was on a 6 game winning streak so no one really pitched a huge fit.

Then a few weeks later news about the payouts broke, then news about the buyout being removed from CJP's contract, then news about Fulmer's raise.

So basically its been one bad headline after another. And once again we are the laughing stock of college football.

How anyone can say Fulmer is doing a good job as AD is severely drinking the kool-aid. He might be a great guy. He might have been a great recruiter and coach. But he's a bad AD.

Marcus is an east TN (Greenback) guy. His wife is from Seymour. Good folks. He had to rebuild his career with Matt Rhule again after the TN Tech disaster. He was OC at Temple for a time. Will see how it goes. Won't be easy over there. But he's learned a lot from his time with Rhule.

If they move on from Pruitt, they have to make a solid hire or Tennessee could be in the same boat. Which is why I would hire Freeze regardless. Always hire the coach that you don’t want your rivals to hire.

More positive press. Don’t listen to people like TB when they start telling you TN could easily get this top coach or that top coach. Our job isn’t viewed that highly.

That being said we gotta go with a wildcard coach...I don’t want to be a bottom feeder for another 3 years hoping our job will become more desirable.

Of the coaches we can get you gotta go Freeze!!! Double down on him and go big or go home. Be like LSU and tell the NCAA to kiss your a$$.

He thinks Pruitt is going to survive. Why would he bother with the trouble if he thought the hammer was dropping
