Its not far fetched to say that the game can pass some people by
Not anyone around here though. Lots of bozos on this board are more qualified to lead than the one we have sitting in that AD chair. I’d venture to say half of you haven’t been inside Neyland stadium more than four or five times. But you know more about what’s better for Tennessee athletics than a cat who’s spent half his life dedicated to this university.

This is getting embarrassing. The media is starting to talk more and more about this “investigation” we are going to end up looking bad again. Just fire the guy and move on... why are we dragging our feet? The damage is done.
You’re just now getting embarrassed? I’m on to the pissed stage now.

They have not completely buried the program yet.

Getting embarrassing? This program has been embarrassing thru the last 4 coaches.

He’s knocking down 4.7 mill a year. Good for fourth highest in the country. He is not the fourth best coach in the country. Not sure he’s even top ten.

Not the way to look at it. Maybe UT paid a premium, but business-wise, it was maybe another $2 million knowing that he was recruiting 5 stars and would be successful. In a normal year, he’s packing TBA and winning 20 games on a consistent basis.

Otherwise, you go back to paying $2 million to a midmajor who may or may not work and is probably not recruiting at that level. It absolutely made sense and was the correct decision.

Gaining weight seems to be a requirement for UT coaches, maybe they just don’t fit anymore?
Honestly look at the hours they work and the lifestyle they lead. If you eat out 95% of your meals you are going to gain weight the older you get. Thats the way it works.

For some reason I always think something about history just isn’t right. Like did that really happen or did they just burn the book with the real stuff?
The Bible ended up being the scrolls of the guy who didn’t get his share of the wine.

I'm not necessarily saying that firing Pruitt is the best move, but if you are going to do it, now would be the time to allow him to get another position and save some of the buyout.
