So it is ok to destroy peoples livelihoods because they have the temerity to say something that the mob deems unacceptable...got it.

Do you go through life telling everyone what you think of them? Your boss? Your wife? Your kids? No? Why? There are limits and those limits evolve.

And no, I don't think someone should lose a job over saying something dumb, but the things we say are a revelation of who we are, and who we are will definitely get us fired.

Like I said, I believe you are connected and trust you, but I have noticed your opinions and the selectivity of the "information" you post moves with the information and feeling of the day.

I'm not "calling you out" or telling you to stop posting, but to act like you're above the message board fodder is disingenuous, in my opinion.

Guys.... here’s our chance.

According to my calculations - if each of us buys only 5 tickets each, we’ll have a 52% chance of one of us winning this thing.

Buy 10 tickets each and that number jumps to a statistical probability of 69% chance of one of us winning it.

All we have to do is buy our tickets, win, and one of us can become a big money booster. We can take control of this thing.

Who’s in?
I think you need to revisit your math :):)

I believe LAVOL and the other “insiders” are a little less emotional than the rest of us when they are providing info or their takes on what they have heard. I appreciate their posts.

That’s not going to get it done against the big dogs of the SEC.

You have to consistently recruit Top Five classes every year to keep up with them.

Hell, Pruitt’s class right now is considered average.
I said "anybody". That is the bar minimum. A monkey could do it. I would hope any P5 coach is better than jimbob tooter from the holler recruiting for us.

Even Dooley had a #7 and #11 class. UT recruits itself for the most part. We need someone who can COACH, develop, and elevate his players/talent, not just rely on absurd talent levels to make himself look competent. Then the top-5 classes will follow.

I will say that Jacksonville played hard with limited talent this year. As a sports bettor, I noticed how they almost always outplayed the spread. Had very close losses against the Packers and against the Colts fighting for a playoff spot last weekend. Marrone is not my favorite candidate, but I'd be interested to see what he can do.

My biggest concern with him is recruiting ability. I don't believe that Tennessee recruits itself. Yes, we'll likely never be outside the top 40 by default, but in order for us to reach our past heights, we need top 10 classes every year and top 5 classes every now and then. Look at Georgia. It's about the Jimmys and Joes not the Xs and Os.
So tell that to the Freeze’s,Napier,Chadwell’s of the world bc a great coach will get 5* results from a 3* joe

Deandre Johnson started last last year and was easily our most explosive pass rusher. He would at the very least he would be in the 2 deep and that’s almost assured just by math alone.

Brandon Johnson was a productive slot wr that was constantly open on 3rd downs. He also showed the ability to make a spectacular catch. He is also a good run blocker on the outside. Brandon Johnson is not randy moss, devante smith, or even Justin hunter. But he would’ve been nice to have around next year even for nothing more than good practice competition and culture. (He’s a scrappy dude). You don’t have to lowball the guys Bc they are no longer here.
Standard operating procedure.

Dog the old guys and proclaim how the new guys (the ones waiting on the bench) will be so much better. It's the backup QB phenomena on steroids.
