Like, I'm not the biggest fan of everyone in Congress either...but hooooly ****, what the ****? Was he intending to take hostages? There's also a handle in the holster on his right hip. So that's likely either a pocket carry or something like a flair gun.

That holster is photoshopped in. Screenshot and zoom in. Also, take a look at his chest rig, mag pouches particularly. They contain sunglasses, an iPhone carrier and what appears to be a med kit.

If his plan was to be involved in a coup, he planned poorly.

There is an angry population brewing. And to think Trump is the root of it is quite ignorant. He is just a product of it. People are tired of seeing the lawlessness of the past summer, of being everyone else's scapegoat. Of seeing elected officials spend trillions.

Yesterday was a mixture of mostly unplanned participants along with some people that have taken on the lifestyle of protesting anything.

Yeah, another reason im scared for and don't trust this admin. What happens the next time Dems pass something that group doesn't like? Do they go riot more? Do they attack/kill more cops? Do they set more stuff on fire? Do they steal more stuff? Allowing it and encouraging it in the MSM just emboldened them to try it again. And at some point those on the right will start to push back.

Just an observation... we’ve watched the left spend months laying basically ineffectual planned out sieges to various federal buildings with brick, rocks, mortars, etc and yesterday we saw what should be one of the most secure buildings in this country get taken in minutes essentially by unarmed sheer numbers.

Has anyone stopped to wonder why the Capital building was so unprotected while it contained our country’s immediate chain of succession to the Presidency?

Security was a bit of fencing and a handful of Capital police officers inside that were so terrified they required assistance from the Oath Keepers to vacate the building. Y’all do know that the Oath Keepers responded to a Capital police officer’s request for help right? They escorted him to the doors so he could tell the other officers it was safe to come out and the crowd made a secure path for them to come out and leave behind the Oath Keepers and those officers even got hugs on the way out.

Mayors Bowser requested and received DC National Guard support the day before yesterday but she specifically laid out their restrictions and that they were just to provide traffic and crowd support to free up the Capital police.
Where were those now freed up officers?
Why weren’t they at the building protecting it since it was known well in advance that the march was going to the Capital?

PSA: The left and their MSM propagandists should probably tone down the rhetoric and remember the folks yesterday were unarmed but they are part of the majority of the firearm owners in this country. Y’all really, really don’t want what you keep pushing for unless senseless destruction and deaths are your end goal.

There are a few things to draw from yesterday besides the fact that the protestors looked more like loony sightseers than people bent on real protest.

The lack of preparedness by the capitol police was incredible. If the lawmakers actually believed all the crap they've been spouting about Trump and sedition etc, why did they not take measures? Only answer is they didn't believe their own lies.

There were several times in videos when it looked like this was a staged event with the keystone cops as participants. Token resistance, and then come on guys we'll let you look around.

As much as I had hoped that GOP supporters had learned from the left and grown some balls; they haven't. The threat of violence and real protest is still from the left. That doesn't mean those to the right should loot and burn like the left, but they sure could learn about protest and being heard. It works for the other side and has for decades. Apparently government only answers to those they fear, and then it's to bow down and give them what they want - the government deals with left wing terrorists all the time. There is a message there.

Honestly, if you care at all about the divide, then you have to leave a dump on his doorstep. If you don't care about the divide, then why care if he gets all the blame? Some of you like him specifically because he attacks everybody.
