The only thing is for certain is that with each day and nothing happens one way or the other, the more damage is done to the program. With each day it becomes more and more difficult to hire a tip shelf candidate. With each day it becomes more difficult to attract quality transfers. With each day that passes the administration becomes more of a laughing stock to the national media.

We are definitely getting more than the "tip" as we make this a public spectacle.

He's not bounced around at all. He has maintained the same stance the whole time that everything needs to play out and anyone making claims was just guessing at this point.

LA has always maintained that the investigation would determine Pruitt's fate.

And he said very recently that the investigation hasn't found anything and that Pruitt coming back was inevitable.

The default decision was always to bring him back. Not many things could have changed that-- and none of them happened.

So what made you guys finally accept the reality?

Again, I am not questioning whether or not he is connected. I believe he is. However, he bounces around with whatever is in the air, using his connections to fill in gaps of information.

But players at Bama UGA UF can post pics of cars and stacks of cash and there is totally nothing going on there. They made at that at their part time jobs. Only TN pays its players to win 3 games. Can't make this stuff up.

Other states and universities protect their football programs. Ours doesn't.

People see what they want to see. People that believe racism is rampant, see racism everywhere. People that are easily offended (or live to be offended) see offense and insult everywhere.

We're screwed.......... Again. The pond we will be fishing from for our next coach doesn't contain 3/4 of the people on the list mentioned. Some of those may have been possible weeks ago, they are pipe dreams now.

I hate this administration, they don't deserve this program or the people that support it.

I think this is a be careful what you wish for case.

If too much of this gets out, Tennessee will be a disaster and none of the coaches will want to touch this place. And players will leave and recruits will bail.

Best case is, keep as much internal as you can, fire and hire quick like Texas and move on and don’t bring it up. Only say what has to be said.

Yeah. The idea of "hope they find something where they can fire him" is dangerous and silly. If you want to part ways because you dont think he can coach than get it done and move on to the next guy you re going to fire in a few years.

Psychologically this is good for the team and will make the players like the coach and play harder. Is it strange to me yes but psychologically i can see the positives in it.
